Is it actually free?

Yes, and the free plan is a real product rather than a trial. It keeps its opportunities and their full launch plans forever. Nothing expires and no card is asked for.

Where do the numbers come from?

US Census County Business Patterns and Nonemployer Statistics. The Census counts businesses by county — the area your town sits inside — so we count how many businesses of a category already exist in yours, compare that against the national rate for a county the same size, and show you the gap. Every figure links to the table it was read from.

Is something scanning the web for opportunities?

No. Nothing here scans the web, watches sources or runs in real time. The catalog is hand-curated and the ranking is Census arithmetic. Anyone who tells you otherwise about their own product is describing something you cannot check.

Will it tell me how much I can make?

No, and it never will. Scoutway measures supply, not demand, and it has no way to know what your work is worth in your town. Every figure in the app was typed in by the person who earned it, after the work was done.

I'm under 18. Can I use it?
